This life

This kaleidescope

So many colours

The unseen hand always shifting the dial

Now this way, now that

Transmuting shapes and shades

Often too intense for someone who is intense

But, go up the kaleidescope

Go back through time, back through refraction of colour

Find yourself back at pure white, or pure black

Calm perfection, still and unmoving, always there
